For UK hospitality owners

Stop losing good staff
over tip rows.

Hospitality is haemorrhaging staff, and one of the biggest reasons workers walk is the suspicion they’re being short-changed on tips. FairTIP shows every worker the pool, the maths, and their share, every period. Tipping Act compliance comes free.

Retention

Keep your team, save 6 to 9 months pay.

A walked-out worker costs you £12,500 to £19,000 once you tally recruitment, lost productivity, and training (UK Hospitality).

Hospitality runs at 52% annual turnover, the highest of any UK industry (CIPD), and tip opacity is one of the most underestimated drivers.

FairTIP shows every worker the pool, the maths, and their share, every period. Retain one extra worker per year and FairTIP pays for itself.

NI savings

NI savings for you, and your workers.

Tips allocated by an independent troncmaster fall outside NI: 8% saved for workers, 15% for the venue. Slide to see your figures.

Indicative, current Class 1 NI rates, voluntary tips. Delivered by a properly constituted tronc with an independent troncmaster.

Built with a working operator, not a consultant. FairTIP is being designed in partnership with a head chef and restaurant owner of fifteen years, against the policies, payslips, and HMRC correspondence of a venue that has lived the new rules since day one.

The product

Every worker sees the maths.
Every period.

Every worker logs in and sees their share with the full maths: the pool, their inputs, the formula. They can check it. Below is the view one worker would see for one period. Alongside: the policy, the allocation, and the three-year audit trail the Tipping Act asks for.

01 / Transparency

The record every worker can see for themselves

The same view, for everyone. The Act’s transparency duty, satisfied automatically.

02 / Policy

A written policy you can hand to a worker

Short questionnaire in, tailored policy out, with the consultation log October’s rules will require.

03 / Allocation

A weekly breakdown your troncmaster signs in minutes

Hours in, role weightings applied, allocation out. Ready for payroll.

04 / Audit log

The tribunal pack you hope you never need

Every allocation, every policy change, every worker request: three years, one PDF export.

The Law
